The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and best robot vacuum Cleaner and mop vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then pure clean robot vacuum your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum cleaner and mop (Qooh.me) known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set route.

Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
