The Combo j7+, like all Roomba models, is great in sucking up dirt. Its intelligent navigation is supported by iRobot OS technology and PrecisionVision, which allows the bot to identify common objects in its path--such as cords or pet waste--and stay clear of them completely. The iRobot Combo j7+ is capable of avoiding furniture like chairs that are tall and have backs that could trap the robot beneath them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ realizes that it's on a surface that needs to be cleaned using water, a tiny robot arm is raised and swings a small mopping pad beneath it. This is an incredibly simple system that performed well during my testing. It was unable to remove water-based liquids, such as juice or wine. The mopping pad is washed and reusable.

The front camera of the iRobot Combo is also useful. It can identify hazards such as power cords or pet waste and will be sure to avoid them for thorough cleaning. This feature is superior to the cameras on most other robot vacuums that frequently get caught up in things like rug tassels. The iRobot Combo ju7+ front camera has blind spots that can cause it to miss certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ is expensive, but it performs adequately enough to justify the cost. It has a very high score from customers, and they love its clever features. It's worth considering alternatives, such as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. It's less expensive than the iRobot Combo h7+, and it is able to respond to voice commands without the need for third-party integration. It also mops and vacuum in one sweep. Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision

The Scout RX3 Home Vision is a full-fledged robot vacuum and mop that comes with the features you'd expect from a premium brand. The mops are great to clean tile or wood, as well as getting rid of pet hair, and dirt. They also have efficient obstacle avoidance, which doesn't push small and light objects, such as socks or toys, around the floor. It's one of the best self-emptying robot vacuum for pet hair mopping robots we've tested. It also comes with a magnetic strip that can be used to block off areas that the robot will not be capable of reaching for example, rooms with many cables.

Unfortunately, the robot falls short of other features of its type. The mops are great however their maximum run-time of 60 minutes is lower than we'd like find in a product that has such a cost. Additionally, it doesn't empty itself into its charging station, or follow up the mopping with the quick vacuum.

However, it's still a good choice for those who have large homes as the mapping and cleaning processes are quick and efficient. The app is simple to use, and you can set up dates for when it's going to operate. You can still use the remote to control the device if you don't want to use an extremely strong WIFI connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision isn't cheap but its smart features make the difference. Live monitoring of homes is great, and it looks pretty cool as well. It's a great choice for anyone with pets, young children, or anyone who is looking to monitor their home when they are away. Most people who own a robotic mop and vacuum are amazed at the changes their floors look after using them regularly.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

Roborock's latest robot vacuum and mop combo self-empty, the S7 Max Ultra ($1299 at Amazon) is a great upgrade over the previous S6 and S7 models. It offers a range of useful features like aggressive mopping, greater suction power (up to 5,100Pa as opposed to the older models' 2,400Pa), and more. It also has a precise lidar navigation system that works in 3D similar to radar. This lets it observe things like chair legs, baseboards and furniture legs, so it can precisely maneuver around them. It can create customized cleaning routines that you start by pressing for example, an "After Meal mode" which systematically vacuums and scrubs the kitchen floors.

This two-in-one also features one unique feature not present in other robots. VibraRise raises the mopping pad when it detects carpeting to prevent getting the area rugs wet. It also makes mopping more efficient. It also comes with the ability to deep clean and mops carpets in one step, getting rid of dust and dirt faster than spinning mops. The app can be used to schedule weekly cleanings or to clean on demand.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a great job at its intended tasks, it's not without drawbacks. The price is the most significant. It's also the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combination I've ever reviewed. The other issues aren't specific to this particular model but more typical of robotic vacuums as a whole: it does not deal with large spills or sticky messes.

The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that incorporate mops and vacuuming in its design. It's among the most affordable combo bots we reviewed. The Freo's impressive cleaning capabilities and numerous customization options make it a solid choice for any home that requires a combination cleaner. The lack of advanced obstacle-avoidance technology and a polished mobile app dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

The first thing you have to do is scan your space. This will help Freo identify the area it will cleanse. It takes around 30 seconds to complete this process. Once the Freo has a better idea of where everything is, it will be able to navigate more quickly during subsequent cleanings.

Another great feature is Freo's ability to register the room as mopping or dry vacuuming so that it is more efficient when switching between these functions. It's also smart enough to recognize the mop pads are dirty and will automatically return to the dock to refill, then head back out to dry clean hard surfaces.

The Freo's ability to vacuum and mop carpets is a key strength. Its twin mops pads are automatically raised when the Freo encounters carpet, allowing it to utilize less power and energy while still removing debris. It is also able to remove sand and oatmeal without needing to go through multiple times using the vac/mop.
