The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a cheap robot vacuum vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the hidden bin and also washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in an ordinary cheap robot vacuum.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
