The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum cleaner with mop vacuum. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The Small Robot Vacuum also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpet with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
